Prop 8 is awful
Shepard Fairey donated this image to support this weekend's L.A. protest against the passing of Proposition 8 in California. It's 2008. Why in the hell are we still having this conversation?

Fritz Scholder Exhibit in DC/NYC
comments (0)
The primary reason we went to DC last week was for the opening of Native American painter Fritz Scholder's exhibit at the Smithsonian National Museum of the American Indian. Our sister, Becky, is the curatorial assistant there and has been working on this project for 2 years. We are so proud of her! -

VOTE! And some cool stickers...
These limited ed. stickers released by Sticker Robot yesterday sold out in less than 24 hours. Which is crazy, but it's more crazy if people don't vote in this election. So please vote today if you didn't vote early. No more lecturing, promise.

found in a DC alley
We're home! While in DC, we went to the Irvine to see Shepard Fairey's exhibit. The best part by far was the alley behind the gallery. And there were a few more around the city which I'll post on our flickr in the next couple of days.

Power to the Poster
Power to the Poster is "a vehicle for sharing issue-based posters that anyone can print and post. The beauty of this site is that nothing gets in the way of people viewing and downloading."

And what a small world. I used to work with one of the guys who's heading up this collaborative project-- Mr. Jason Hardy, who now resides in SF. What a Chicago loss.
